PTFE films, tapes and sheets are available in
perforated and bondable forms, PTFE skived products are
made from the finest virgin, electrical-grade resins, which are carefully
molded into stress-free billets, then skived with state-of-the art,
computer-controlled lathes. The products meet or exceed the requirements of
ASTM and MILP-2241 Type II.

THE
CHOICE IN AEROSPACE APPLICATIONS
PTFE skived film is an
economical choice as a release surface in the manufacture of high-temperature
composite parts for aerospace applications. It has a continuous use
temperature of 2600C (5000F) and can withstand higher
temperatures for limited periods. The availability of wide widths means that
large parts can be molded with minimum seam lines.
OUTSTANDING
IN ELECTRONIC APPLICATIONS
The outstanding purity
and thickness-uniformity of PTFE skived film makes it deal for critical
electronic applications such as microwave circuit boards. The dielectric
constant of PTFE shows less change over a wider range of temperatures and
frequencies than any other solid material.
EXCELLENT
IN ELECTRICAL APPLICATIONS
PTFE
skived tape is an excellent choice for electrical applications such
as wire and cable insulation/dielectric. Its volume resistivity remains in
water. Its heat-stability is superior to other forms of PTFE insulation such
as slip-on "spaghetti" tubing.
